We are helpful, supportive and welcoming people. We strive to create an environment for all ideas to be heard by building strong relationships with business owners, neighbors, and town officials.

Competition distracts and divides, inclusivity unites. There are a thousand ways for Downtown to prosper. Even with a handful of solutions implemented tomorrow there would still be a need for more ideas.

We do not take ourselves too seriously, nor do we elevate ourselves above others. We want to inject positivity and life into every situation. We’re all volunteers and love serving our community.

We believe we live in one of the greatest towns in Southwest Virginia. We love the history of this place by helping preserve and promote the existing community fabric. We want to shine a light for all that Downtown has to offer, knock down barriers, and advocate for change.

We bring our best by being proactive, adaptable, and taking initiative. When people think of Downtown Christiansburg we want them to see something inviting, interesting, inspiring, excellent, and compelling.

We are a collection of individuals with various talents and skills available to be used to help our initiatives and goals succeed. Where we are lacking, we seek to find opportunities to continuously learn and grow.

We seek to serve our community first. Transparency and accountability is in all that we do. We assume the best and don’t make blanket statements we can’t support. If you have a question, just ask.
